Polda Papua Sebut Penembakan Pesawat Wings Air di Yahukimo Dilakukan KKB

JScom, PAPUA – Sebelum klaim Tentara Pembebasan Nasional Papua Barat Organisasi Papua Merdeka (TPNPB OPM) Sebby Sambom merespons penembakan dua pesawat yang terjadi pada 16-17 Februari lalu, Kepolisian Daerah Papua telah mengantongi terduga penembak Pesawat Wings Air IW-1646 di Bandara Nop Goliat Dekai, Kabupaten Yahukimo dan Pesawat Asian One Air dengan seri PK-LTF di Bandara Milawak, Distrik Beoga, Kabupaten Puncak, Papua Tengah. Pelaku adalah kelompok kriminal bersenjata (KKB).

Kabid Humas Polda Papua Kombes Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo saat dikonfirmasi, Sabtu lalu mengatakan belum bisa memastikan KKB yang terlibat. Namun, peristiwa di Yahukimo dipastikan KKB Yahukimo.

Di samping itu, tidak ada penebalan pasukan ke Bumi Cenderawasih meski ada penembakan dua pesawat oleh KKB. Menurut Benny, personel pengamanan saat ini sudah mencukupi. “Sementara aparat keamanan cukup,” terangnya.

Untuk diketahui, penembakan Pesawat Wings Air terjadi saat mendarat di Bandara Nop Goliat Dekai, Kabupaten Yahukimo, Papua pada Sabtu, 17 Februari 2024. Penembakan dilakukan di sisi kiri pesawat saat bersiap untuk mendarat dari Runway 25 menuju ujung kali Brasa sekitar pukul 13.20 WIT.(BT-MI)
