JAKARTA, jurnalswara com – KETUA Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) RI Hasyim Asy’ari diminta menjunjung tinggi etika dan mundur dari jabatannya setelah disanksi peringatan keras terakhir oleh Dewan Kehormatan Penyelenggara Pemilu (DKPP) pada Senin (5/2) lalu terkait pelolosan Gibran Rakabuming Raka sebagai calon wakil presiden (cawapres) dalam Pemilu Presiden-Wakil Presiden 2024.

Direktur Democracy and Electoral Empowerment Partnership (DEEP) Indonesia Neni Nur Hayati, mengatakan hal itu merupakan upaya agar kepercayaan publik terhadap penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024 tidak tergerus.

Hasyim harus menyadari pelanggaran etik yang dilakukan dalam menindaklanjuti Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) Nomor 90/PUU-XXI/2023 pada 16 Oktober lalu yang membuka keran bagi Gibran menjadi cawapres.

“DEEP Indonesia meminta agar Ketua KPU menyadari pelanggaran etiknya dan dapat mundur dari jabatannya. Sebab sudah sepatutnya tidak perlu dilanjutkan lagi karena terbukti ada pelanggaran etik,” kata Neni lewat keterangan tertulis, Kamis lalu.

Terlebih, sanksi peringatan keras terakhir dari DKPP kepada Hasyim bukan kali pertama dijatuhkan. Berdasarkan catatan, Hasyim sebelumnya juga pernah diberikan sanksi serupa oleh DKPP pada April dan Oktober 2023.

Dua sanksi itu masing-masing terkait hubungannya dengan Ketua Umum Partai Republik Satu Hasnaeni atau “Wanita Emas” dan penghitungan pembulatan ke bawah pecahan desimal penghitungan kuota caleg perempuan.

Sebagai lembaga penyelenggara pemilu, Neni mengatakan harusnya KPU dapat menja muruah dan reputasi. Namun, KPU justru terlibat dalam kepentingan politik sehingga menimbulkan spekulasi negatif dan ketidakpercayaan masyarakat.

“Publik tentu akan sangat khawatir, saat menuju ke tahapan paling inti Pemilu 2024, tapi KPU tidak mampu menjadi teladan integritas, baik untuk KPU provinsi, kabupaten/kota, maupun sampai tingkat petugas ad hoc,” tandas Neni.

Dalam kesempatan terpisah, Tim Pembela Demokrasi Indonesia (TPDI) dan Perekat Nasional mengajukan gugatan ke Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara (PTUN) DKI Jakarta atas dugaan perbuatan melawan hukum yang dilakukan komisioner KPU RI. Gugatan yang dilayangkan merupakan buntut putusan DKPP.

Perwakilan TPDI Erick Paat mengatakan, pihaknya meminta pencalonan Prabowo-Gibran sebagai capres-cawapres dibatalkan. “Ini jelas kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh KPU dan jajarannya. Jadi, kami sangat pihak teradu. Selain para komisioner KPU RI, Prabowo dan Gibran juga dicantumkan sebagai teradu. (SE-Mi)
