JScom, JAKARTA – Realisasi hak angket menjadi pertaruhan bagi DPR RI sekaligus partai politik (parpol) dalam rangka membangun kepercayaan masyarakat. Pengamat politik sekaligus peneliti Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) Ikrar Nusa Bhakti menjelaskan bahwa hak angket penting sebagai bukti bahwa parpol menjaga amanah masyarakat selaku konstituen. Terlebih, isu kecurangan masih menjadi perbincangan hangat di kalangan masyarakat, terutama yang dilakukan oleh presiden dan para menteri.
Oleh karenanya, ketiadaan hak angket sama saja membiarkan ketidakjelasan informasi. “Kalau hak angket terealisasi, kepercayaan publik terhadap parpol-parpol itu pasti akan meningkat. Kalau masuk angin, apalagi karena tergoda masuk koalisi atau kabinet, tentu persepsi publik akan berubah,” ujarnya ketika ditemui Bisnis selepas acara Forum Penyelamat Reformasi dan Demokrasi (FPRD), dikutip Rabu (28/2).
Bagi Ikrar, efektivitas hak angket memang punya tantangan tersendiri untuk sampai mengubah hasil Pemilu. Namun, keberanian segelintir parpol menempuh jalur politik untuk mengungkap kebenaran, setidaknya merupakan cerminan bahwa demokrasi masih berdiri tegak di Tanah Air. Harapannya, kecurangan pada Pemilu 2024 tak lantas dibiarkan jadi ‘rahasia umum’.
Pasalnya, apabila dibiarkan menguap begitu saja, pemilu kali ini bisa menjadi preseden bagi pemegang kekuasaan selanjutnya untuk menggunakan metode serupa.
