Jscom, JAKARTA – Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) tidak langsung memberi lampu hijau atas usul pasangan capres-cawapres nomor urut 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, untuk menghadirkan Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo dalam sidang lanjutan sengketa Pemilu Presiden (Pilpres) 2024.
Ketua tim hukum capres-cawapres nomor urut 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, Todung Mulya Lubis, menyebut bahwa keinginan pihaknya untuk memanggil Kapolri sudah dituliskan dalam surat yang dilayangkan kepada MK.
Ia berharap, dipanggilnya Kapolri dapat memperlihatkan kepada Mahkamah mengenai intimidasi, kriminalisasi, dan ketidaknetralan dalam kampanye yang melibatkan polisi, sebagaimana didalilkan oleh Ganjar-Mahfud dalam permohonan sengketanya ke MK.
Todung berujar, hal ini penting guna menunjukkan aspek-aspek pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh pihak kepolisian yang mencederai demokrasi dan integritas pemilu.
Sementara itu, terkait usul untuk menghadirkan Kepala Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) Budi Gunawan, MK juga memberikan pernyataan yang kurang lebih sama. Usul ini sebelumnya disampaikan salah satu advokat tim pembela Prabowo-Gibran, Nicholay Aprilindo, setelah Todung mengusulkan untuk menghadirkan Kapolri. “Nanti dipertimbangkan, tapi secara prinsip sebenarnya sudah selesai di kemarin, karena hari ini sebenarnya sudah tidak menerima itu, karena nanti tidak ada kepastian step-step jadwal sidang ini,” kata Suhartoyo. “Tapi nanti akan kami diskusikan dengan para hakim,” tutupnya.
